Each boxed meal cost 72/. I raised money from friends and family to cover the cost of 200 meals. I went with my driver and mum to hand out these boxes to migrant workers and children at the traffic lights.”

Social Entreprenuership

Adhiraj

When Adhiraj visited his maid’s home, he was struck by how poor the ventilation was in her small dwelling and how the smells generated from the cooking tended to sit in the small cramped space making it difficult to breathe.

He came up with the idea of building a gadget that would absorb these smells and thus the ‘odefier’ was born - a compact cheap and sturdy machine that runs on electricity and effectively cleans the air of all smells.

Adhiraj is in the process of registering his business and is also looking to collaborate with people who would be willing to fund this project and help him upscale it.
